Hey folks! The site we sell our music through, Bandcamp, is donating 100% of the money they make today (Friday) to the ACLU. We think this is awesome! To double down, we’re gonna donate all that WE make today from album sales to the Boston Center for Refugee Health Rights. It’s a small thing, but we try to make music that’s positive and hopeful, so we’d love to bring a little bit of hope to a group of people that truly need it right now.

Hey all!

If you recall, Cara and I (Jon) played a show last year on an island off of Boston Harbor for an event called Soundscapes. Well, a year later, that same gang (led by the wonderful Leah Hennesy) is showcasing the pictures and videos documenting the experience at an event called Echo.

There’s a screening & reception on Thursday, July 28th with beers and friends that you should totally come to. Gallery 263 is a great space in Cambridgeport (one we’ve also had the pleasure of playing!) so go support those guys!

…we’ve released a small run of our album “Hymns” as a CD in a *lovely* cardboard sleeve. Only made 100 of these babies, so get ’em while they last! CD should arrive before Christmas for US residents.

What the whaaaat!? We’re the top-selling folk album on Bandcamp! And we’re right next to one of our biggest inspirations, The Oh Hellos. This is pretty cool to us, thank you guys SO much for getting us here. 🙂

Who’s excited to hear some FOLK MUSIC ON A MONDAY NIGHT I KNOW I AM

But for real, we’re actually really excited. There’s gonna be some great folk bands playing with us – Dear Creek, Christians & Lions, and Midwest. Dear Creek and Midwest have great songs and appaaarently this is like a reunion show for Christians & Lions (and I’ve only heard good things) so BE THERE.

Also, yesterday, Cara and I went out on the Charles River in our kayaks and then I bought ice cream from an ICE CREAM TRUCK. It was so magical. I actually…don’t hate being outside? What’s happening I don’t even understand. So anyway, come celebrate life and good weath with us tonight because things are good.
